By the end of the week, Scotland could leave the United Kingdom for good. Scottish citizens will cast a “yes” or “no” vote Thursday to decide whether or not the country stays part of the United Kingdom or separates from England.
Both sides are running a tight race – polls Sunday night put the vote against independence just slightly ahead. After months of debate, the “yes” vote for secession has gained steam, growing from 32 percent in February of 2013 to 46 percent this September.
On social media, people have been offering their opinions on the referendum.
